Visit the Floriade! It is held once every 10 years in Holland. This year it is in a city called Venlo in the south of Holland. You can visit the Floriade until the 7th of October. The Floriade is the biggest Horticultural Expo in the world. Visitors are presented with the opportunity to enjoy the world's most exquisite and exceptional flowers, plants, trees and fruit and vegetables. You can book a day trip at our reception for a special price of € 75,-. You can also take a train to Venlo. It will take you 2 hours.

Deze decembermaand viert Amsterdam Kerst met de Christmas Canal Parade onder het thema 'Lichtfeesten in de wereld'. Tientallen salon- en rondvaartboten worden stijlvol gedecoreerd in Kerststijl door gerenommeerde ontwerpers en kunstenaars als Aziz, Gilian Schrofer en Eric Staller.

Magere brug speciaal verlicht

Op 10 december geeft burgemeester Eberhard van der Laan het startsein voor het evenement Winter Magic Amsterdam waarbij dertig boten de lichtjes worden ontstoken met als hoogtepunt een speciaal ontworpen verlichting van de Magere Brug op de Amstel.

Ultiem kerstgevoel

Een sprookje op de Amsterdamse grachten zorgt voor een ultiem Kerstgevoel voor jong en oud en iedereen mag meedoen. Winter Magic Amsterdam vindt dit jaar voor het eerst plaats en is een initiatief van de Stichting Chistmas Canal Parade. Van 10 december tot en met 1 januari vaart de vloot versierde boten dagelijks in kerstsfeer en zijn er hoogtepunten als de Christmas Sing Along, de feestelijke Canal Parade en de Best Wishes Tour. Rendez-vous op de Amstel voor het bedrijfsleven

Op alle tussenliggende dagen varen de deelnemende schepen verlicht rond, waarbij de afspraak geldt elkaar om half negen op de Amstel te ontmoeten. De boten varen dan een ronde achter elkaar aan. Dit levert een dagelijkse mini-christmas-parade op, waarna de vloot zich weer verspreidt. Alle boten stralen zowel van buiten als van binnen kerst uit. Marey Kerry, gluhwein... De ideale gelegenheid om je collega's / relaties in een warme ambiance te bedanken voor al hun medewerking in het afgelopen jaar. Tevens een mooie gelegenheid om het oude jaar uit te zwaaien en het nieuwe jaar binnen te varen.
